Our Software & Cybersecurity product area is accepting applications for a Software Engineer. In this position, you will develop software with a group of highly capable and experienced individuals for DoD contracts. Responsibilities: Design, create, modify, integrate, test, or maintain applications, embedded software, engineering/scientific software, web applications, machine learning, and/or artificial intelligence-based software solutions. Communicate with colleagues and more senior developers on technical designs and development. Document the software design using flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, self-documenting code, inline comments, and/or other appropriate documentation. Develop software solutions by studying user requirements, data usage, and systems flow. Provide project status to internal and external customers. Analyze source code and recommend software quality and/or performance improvements. Manage the software development life cycle. Decompose typical, non-complex software requirements into actionable steps. Manage role-based access control and access control list for systems and devices. Prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status. Direct system testing and validation procedures. Direct software programming and documentation development. Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance. Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited institution and 2 years of related experience; or a Master's degree in same and 1 year of related experience; or a Ph.D. in same. Possesses or is capable of possessing Security+ CE Certification Beginner in using Python, Java, JavaScript, J-Query, C#, and Dot.NET frameworks including MVC, Web Forms and/or Dot.NET core Beginner in using secure coding practices Beginner in using database design principles and Structured Query Language Preferred Qualifications Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) a plus.
