**Truck Driver**

Operations Maywood, Nebraska Minimum Experience **Mid-level** Role Purpose

To effectively and efficiently assist in the daily operations at the agronomy location. Assist with duties involving bulk plant and warehouse operations. Other duties primarily associated with warehousing, equipment maintenance, hauling grain, tending application equipment, general farm work, custom application, soil sampling, etc. Will also be expected to complete all other duties as assigned by the supervisor while displaying Norder Supplys core values and to fulfill our purpose of assisting our customers in achieving maximum net return per acre.

Delivery of Products

* Deliver products to and from other location and customers

* Meet DOT requirements, properly fill out time sheets and log books

* Notify supervisor of any repairs needed to delivery equipment

Facility Operations

* Operate forklifts, scales, pumps and all other equipment in a safe and responsible manner

Warehouse/Bulk Plant

* Load/unload deliveries, help organize loads and inventories

* Fill bulk containers and package chemicals also handle dry and liquid fertilizer

* Operate bulk seed treatment equipment

Shared Accountabilities

* Maintain all aspects of equipment and facilities so that they are in excellent working condition for their respective seasons. Such equipment may include but is not limited to: nurse trailers, dry fertilizer equipment, bulk chemical and fertilizer facilities, tending and application equipment, warehouse, office, ground, vehicles and all other equipment

Critical Knowledge

* Knowledge of equipment and tractor trailer operations

* Knowledge of chemical handling and loading

* Knowledge of fuel handling and loading

* Knowledge of Worker Protection Standards

* General maintenance knowledge

Critical Skills

* Ability to obtain and maintain a valid class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements

* Ability to adapt to different work environments

* Ability to demonstrate a team player attitude

* Ability to work long hours during peak periods

* Demonstrate basic math skills

* Ability to lift 75 pounds

Critical Experience

* High school diploma; experience in equipment operation, basic knowledge of operations involved in production agriculture. Candidates pursuing a degree in agriculture technology are encouraged to apply
