Building Custodian

**Position Title:** Building Custodian **WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**

You must be a highly motivated person who is able to work independently on a daily basis. You must have good attendance with limited unscheduled absences. You must be dependable, a self-starter, and have a basic understanding of cleaning procedures.

**WHAT IS IT LIKE TO WORK FOR THE JUNEAU POLICE DEPARTMENT**

JPD is the main law enforcement agency in the City & Borough of Juneau. JPD is a 24-hour facility, with Patrol and Dispatch teams working around the clock every day of the year. In partnership with the people of Juneau, our mission is to make our City a place where people can live safely and without fear. This position supports that mission by maintaining a healthy and safe environment for all employees and visitors. JPD has a strong friendly atmosphere while maintaining strong professionalism.

**WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION**

This position works (Sunday through Thursday) 3:30 PM 12:00 midnight. Your office would be located at the Juneau Police Department facility located on Alaway Avenue in the Lemon Creek area.
