Key responsibilities of this role will include: Business Development and Client Relations: Coordinate with the Roadway Discipline Leader and senior management to develop and implement strategies for regional market penetration. Develop new client relationships and seek out opportunities for new business with local agency and DOT clients. Represent the company at industry events and expand the company's brand recognition within the region. Collaborate with the company's other service lines to effectively promote our capabilities and cross-sell services. Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and specifications. Team Growth and Leadership: Collaborate with corporate staff and management to build a high-performing team; As the team grows, lead and manage a team or teams, including engineers and technicians. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Foster a positive workplace culture, exemplifying the company's core values. Ensure the professional growth and development of department team members. Guide the team to deliver high-quality results. Project Management and Delivery: Manage local agency and DOT roadway design projects. Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget. Plan, organize, and direct activities of project teams and/or direct reports, including project management, design, and construction oversight. Perform QC/QA as needed. You may also be involved in other various responsibilities and projects in this role.
