This role will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the ServiceNow platform to ensure system availability, performance, and security, while supporting business processes and user requirements across the organization. This individual will also serve as a lead / mentor for junior developers, and as a technical subject matter expert across the ServiceNow platform. This role is critical in ensuring the successful delivery of our ServiceNow initiatives while maintaining Agile best practices throughout the project lifecycle. The System Administrator works closely with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This individual will lead platform administration maintenance, configuration, customization, continuous improvement, and enable collaboration between development team and customer./ppPrincipal responsibilities include but are not limited to:/pulliConfigure, maintain, and support the ServiceNow platform and its modules (ITSM, ITOM, HR, CSM, etc.)/liliPerform system upgrades, patches, and release management activities/liliMonitor platform performance, capacity, and system health/liliManage user access, roles, groups, and security permissions/liliMaintain system documentation, including configuration records and standard operating procedures/liliDesign and implement workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts/liliCreate and maintain forms, views, reports, and dashboards/liliConfigure notifications, email templates, and automated processes/liliDevelop and maintain Service Catalog items and Record Producers/liliMaintain development, test, and production environments/liliEnsure compliance with IT policies, standards, and regulatory requirements/liliPerform system integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications using REST, SOAP, and other integration methods/liliMentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers and team members/liliSupport code reviews to ensure adherence to development standards and best practices/liliTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the ServiceNow platform/liliCollaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications/liliStay current with ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and industry best practices/liliTrain end-users and create training materials/liliSupport Agile development approach for feature and platform delivery/liliSupport change management activities related to ServiceNow implementation/liliIdentify opportunities for process automation and platform optimization/li/ulpEducation and Experience:/pulliBachelors degree in Computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience/lili3+ years of hands-on experience administering ServiceNow platform/liliExperience with at least 2 ServiceNow releases and upgrade cycles, having managed upgrades, migration, and or integration projects/liliProven track record of developing in multiple ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, ITBM/SPM, CSM, HR, or Security Operations)/li/ulpMust hold at least the following certification:/pulliServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)/li/ulpRequired Skills and Competencies:/pulliServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification/liliStrong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, data model, and configuration/liliProficiency with JavaScript, XML, HTML, and CSS/liliExperience with workflow design and automation/liliKnowledge of database concepts and SQL queries/liliUnderstanding of web services (REST/SOAP APIs)/liliFamiliarity with SSO, LDAP, and authentication protocols/liliExtensive experience with ServiceNow development tools: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, Workflows, Flow Designer/liliUnderstanding of ITIL processes and best practices/liliKnowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies/liliExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders/liliAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment/liliProven platform/liliUnderstanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)/liliFamiliarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines/liliPowerShell, Python, or other scripting language proficiency/liliVersion control systems experience (SNOW, Git, SVN)/liliDatabase knowledge and experience with relational databases/liliExperience leading technical teams or projects/liliStrong
