In this role, you will oversee the planning, organization, and implementation of therapeutic nutrition programs across all service areas in the institutional food service operation at Ebensburg Center. In this position, you will ensure that the therapeutic nutrition program complies with ADA guidelines and survey standards while integrating medical nutrition therapy into the center's operations. Duties include maintaining an up-to-date diet manual, planning regular and therapeutic menus that reflect current clinical nutrition practices, and providing clinical expertise to meet individuals' nutritional needs. Additionally, you will oversee meal preparation for accuracy in flavor, quality, and texture, direct tray assembly for efficiency, and develop a group instruction program for dietary services staff. Your focus will be on imparting knowledge of nutrition principles and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Overtime and travel may be required as needed.
- May change based on operational needs.
- Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Special Requirement:
- This position requires certification as a Registered Dietitian as defined by the Commission on Registration of the American Dietetic Association; or proof of eligibility for such certification.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
