Must have prior banquet server experience, including both plated and buffet-style service You will be sent home without pay if you do not have experience as a banquet server. Events range from corporate luncheons and receptions to formal banquets, requiring flexibility and attention to detail in a high-volume setting. Key Responsibilities: Serve plated meals and buffet-style service with speed and precision Carry serving trays with 810 meals efficiently and safely Execute all Steps of Service to ensure a seamless guest experience Set up and break down buffet stations, beverage areas, and event spaces Maintain clean and organized service areas, including bussing and resetting tables Follow instructions from supervisors and adjust quickly to event changes Provide attentive and professional customer service throughout the event Assist with coffee service, boxed lunches, and reception set-ups as needed Handle basic beverage service, including wine pouring and bottle opening Requirements: Prior banquet or event service experience is required Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment Must speak fluent English and communicate clearly with guests and team members Professional appearance and demeanor Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work under pressure ***General Requirements*** General responsibilities when working an Event Server job assignment can include: Greet guests and provide friendly customer service Take food and beverage orders Deliver and serve food and drink items to guests Monitor and maintain buffet stations to keep them stocked and organized Help set and bus tables Comfortable working in a busy environment Stand for long durations during shift Lift, move, and carry food items and trays Follow all sanitation and safety rules and regulations
