Description

As the Head of Finance, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's financial and growth strategies. This is a strategic, high-impact position that involves working closely with each business leader to drive and pursue significant growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft and execute financial strategies that align with the company's growth and profitability objectives.
  • Act as a key advisor to the COO, CEO and other business leaders, providing insights and recommendations for growth and profitability.
  • Lead the finance and accounting team, elevating its capabilities to support the company's strategic direction.
  • Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Spearhead financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making across all business units.
  • Ensure financial & accounting compliance and integrity in all reporting and operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree highly regarded.
  • CPA or similar certification desirable.
  • At least 10 years of finance experience, with a significant portion in a strategic leadership role managing a finance and/or accounting team
  • Proven experience in a tech or startup environment, with a deep understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Exceptional analytical, financial modeling and strategic thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial strategies to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working directly with external investors and/or the board of a company a plus
  • A proven track record of success as a CFO or senior financial leader in a high-growth company
  • Experience implementing accounting software and enhancing operational efficiency
