Essential Performance Responsibilities

Installation of Technology Systems: Oversee the safe and efficient installation of technology equipment and services, encompassing hardware, software, wiring, and associated equipment.Maintenance of Technology Equipment and Systems: Regularly maintain technology infrastructure, including servers, phone systems, security systems, surveillance cameras, printers, interactive boards, and wireless access points, to ensure optimal functionality supporting educational operations.Procurement and Inventory Management: Assist in procuring, managing inventory, and handling surplus of technology equipment, systems, and services.Implementation of Technology Initiatives: Collaborate in implementing operational and educational technology initiatives, facilitating the adoptionof new systems, hardware, and educational programs, while providing support and guidance to stakeholders.Troubleshooting Network Connectivity: Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues to ensure seamless operation of technology systems.Knowledge of District Policies: Demonstrate proficiency in district policies and regulations pertaining to technology responsibilities.Coordination of Technology Needs: Coordinate technology requirements by liasing with teachers, the Superintendent, Principals, Technology Director, and relevant technology committees.Software and Hardware Inventory Management: Maintain up-to-date inventories of software and hardware assets.Support for Staff and Administration: Provide technical support and guidance to staff and administration for their hardware and software needs.Training and Education: Facilitate training sessions to enhance staff's technology proficiency and ecourage the integration of technology into classroom activities. Provide assistance to technology teachers in labs and classrooms as needed.Identifying Technology Needs: Collaborate with building principals and the Technology Director to identify technology needs and associated costs. Ensure the proper maintenance and repair of hardware.Participation in Meetings and Committees: Attend staff meetings and actively contribute to committees as required.Training Support Technicians and Interns: Assist in training support technicians and interns to ensure competency in their roles.Additional DutiesPerforms other related tasks as assigned.Note:
