Patient Financial Counselor

Under general supervision, performs a wide range of duties and tasks related to the care, treatment and financial assistance of the patient. This position will be the primary point of contact for patient assistance and special projects. Provides administrative support to the healthcare team and patients; to include data abstraction, project identification and maintenance of required elements for grant support. This position will act, in coordination with Director and other outreach staff, as ambassador in the surrounding communities by educating and assisting the patient and community, at point of origin. Responsible for performing activities relating to patients assistance matters.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Providence has been serving the Inland Northwest since 1886 when Mother Joseph and the Sisters of Providence founded Sacred Heart Medical Center. Today, Providence is the largest health care provider in Washington located in communities large and small across the state.
