The Phlebotomist also organizes specimen collection requests, performs patient clinical laboratory specimen collection procedures, specimen transport, specimen processing, testing dispersal, point-of-care testing procedures, and other pre-analytic functions following established standards and practices.Work Schedule: Rotate Days and Evenings - Must be able to work all four shifts 4:00 am - 12:30 pm 8:00 am - 4:00 pm12:00 pm - 8:30 pm2:00 pm - 10:30 pmRotate every 3rd Weekend (Sat & Sun) and every 3rd Holiday Additional pay available for hours worked before 7am and after 7pm, and all weekend shifts Full time - 80 hours every 2 weeks Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.Six months to one year related experience and/or training is preferred.Licensure/Certification/RegistrationCertification as a Phlebotomist Technician (PBT) from the ASCP is preferred.PayThe hourly range for this position is listed below.
