Overview

The Delivery Helper assists delivery drivers with assigned route delivery functions.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Deliver products as invoiced to specified licensed retailers

* Check-in invoiced orders with customers in a friendly, courteous manner

* Collect and return all payments as required

* Account for all invoices of merchandise delivered and merchandise returned

* Collect empty boxes to be used for redelivery, as needed

* Ensure delivery logs are completed as required

* Ensure check-in procedures are followed daily

* Attend monthly safety meetings

* Take only safety courses and other classes as needed

* Report all moving violations to management

* Drive equipment in a professional and safe manner, as needed within licensing requirements

* Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

* High School diploma or equivalency; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

* Three (3) months of experience in a warehousing environment

* Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs. for an extended period of time.

Preferred Qualifications

* Ability to obtain Class A or B Commercial Drivers License

* Ability to navigate the assigned driving area in an efficient manner
