Glazing Project Manager Position Type: Full?Time Location: Newton, NH About ACT Glass & Aluminum Co. ACT Glass & Aluminum Co. is a leading commercial glazing contractor serving New England for over 35 years. Based in Newton, NH, we specialize in high?performance curtainwall systems, storefront glazing, interior glass partitions, and specialty architectural glass for commercial, institutional, and industrial projects throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont. From multi?story office buildings and healthcare facilities to automotive dealerships and educational campuses, we deliver complex glazing solutions that demand precision, coordination, and craftsmanship. As a small to medium?sized company, we offer clear paths for advancement and leadership opportunities that larger firms cant match. We are expanding our project?management team and are looking for an experienced Glazing Project Manager who values collaboration, takes ownership of their projects, and takes pride in delivering quality work on time and on budget. Core Responsibilities Manage glazing projects from award through closeout (submittals, procurement, scheduling, installation oversight) Coordinate with estimating, fabrication, and field crews to ensure on?time, on?budget delivery Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs; interface with GCs, architects, and inspectors Monitor job costs, track change orders, and manage subcontractor coordination Conduct site visits for progress reviews, quality control, and problem resolution Maintain project documentation (schedules, logs, photos, as?built) Typical Project Load Manage 5?10 concurrent projects ranging from $100K to $2M+ Mix of new construction, renovation, and specialty installations What Were Looking For Someone who is proactive, detail?oriented, and comfortable problem?solving in the field. Required Qualifications 5+ years commercial glazing project management (curtainwall, storefront, interior glass) Proficient with construction project management software (Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Buildertrend, or equivalent platforms with submittal/RFI tracking) Strong understanding of glazing systems, installation sequences, and field challenges Ability to read architectural drawings, specs, and shop drawings Valid drivers license; willingness to travel to job sites throughout New England Not Required, But a Plus Education: Bachelors degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field Software: Bluebeam Revu for plan markup, takeoffs, and submittal coordination Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 for scheduling Familiarity with monday.com, ClickUp, or Smartsheet for workflow tracking, bid management, and team collaboration CAD experience (AutoCAD, Revit) a plus for reviewing shop drawings and coordination Technical: Experience with major glazing systems (Kawneer, YKK AP, OldCastle, Viracon) Knowledge of fire?rated glazing, blast?resistant systems, or specialty glass applications OSHA 30 or other safety certifications Compensation & Benefits Salary: Commensurate with experience Benefits: Comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision) Paid time off and holidays Professional development and training opportunities Work Arrangement Role Type: On?site (Newton, NH) to start Hybrid options available after initial onboarding period, depending on project demands, performance, and scheduling needs.
