What You Will Be Doing:

  • Advising clients on compliance with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • Representing clients in employment-related litigation, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes.
  • Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs in connection with labor and employment matters.
  • Assisting with internal investigations of employment practices and conducting employee training on compliance matters.
  • Negotiating and drafting employment agreements, severance agreements, and other employment-related documents.
  • Handling matters before administrative agencies such as the EEOC and NLRB.
  • Collaborating with other attorneys in the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.

What You Need for this Position:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 2-4 years of experience in labor and employment law, preferably with experience at a major law firm.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws.
  • Proven litigation experience, including taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and preparing for trial.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong client service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Admission to the Georgia Bar and in good standing. Admission to additional state bars is a plus.
