Job description

Infosys is seeking a GIS Specialist -. In this role you will be part of a larger team delivering high quality technology solutions to the business. Design, develop and install software solutions using GIS technologies. Build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with internal architecture, development & design standards & best practices. Design, modify, develop, write, implement, and troubleshoot software programming applications. Support and/or install software applications. Lead the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Works within a Waterfall or Agile methodology/framework-based team. Collaborates heavily with Project Management, Business Analyst and Infrastructure Job Families.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Columbus, OH and Indianapolis, IN or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the
specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience with leveraging ArcGIS Pro and publishing services to ArcGIS Enterprise from Pro
• Experience with configuring tools in ArcGIS Enterprise (such as Map, Dashboard,App Builder,Experience Builder)

Preferred Qualifications
•Experience leveraging an enterprise RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) such as Oracle
•Experience leveraging Python and the Arcpy library
•Strong visual, written, and verbal communication skills
•Experience with a project management tool (such as Jira) to track project work
•Has the ability to perform front End troubleshooting.
•Understands best practices within ArcGIS Enterprise to promote a healthy, clean and organized GIS ecosystem
•Recommends tooling and capability to fulfill project requirements within the ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 ecosystem
•Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
•Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
