Our urology department is expanding, and we are seeking a compassionate, skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team and assist in providing top-tier care to our patients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic NP looking to work in a collaborative and innovative environment. *Position Overview:* We are looking for a highly motivated Nurse Practitioner with a focus on urology to support the diagnostic and treatment needs of our patients. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with seven board-certified urologists to manage patient care, provide education, and assist with a variety of urological conditions. This position is ideal for an NP who is passionate about urology and wants to make a meaningful impact in patient outcomes. *Key Responsibilities:* * Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical exams and review of medical histories. * Diagnose and manage common urological conditions, such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones, incontinence, and prostate disorders. * Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging and lab work. * Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans. * Perform minor procedures as necessary under the supervision of the urologist. * Educate patients on preventive care, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications. * Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient follow-up. * Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines. * *Qualifications:* * Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited institution. * Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Maine. * Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ACNP or FNP) (Urology-specific training or experience a plus but not required). * Minimum of 2 years of experience as an NP in a clinical setting. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * BLS/ACLS certification is required. *Preferred Qualifications:* * Urology certification or specialized training. *Benefits:* * Competitive salary based on experience. * Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance. * Paid time off (PTO) and holidays. * Continuing education and professional development opportunities. * Retirement plan options. * Supportive and collaborative work environment. *How to Apply:* If you are an experienced Nurse Practitioner with a passion for urology and are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in patient care, we encourage you to apply.
