Implement and oversee quality assurance processes in compliance with NAVSEA standards, QA Workbooks, and safety requirements. Interface with program management, government technical staff, and customers to report progress, issues, and resolutions. Ensure compliance with local policies, OSHA, ISO 9000, 14001, OSHAS 18001, and other safety/environmental standards. Lead and mentor quality and safety teams across multiple locations. Participate in reviews, develop corrective actions, and track their closure. Requirements: 10+ years of experience in ship repair or related industry. Minimum 5 years in performance and quality management, including 3 years in a leadership role. Experience interpreting mechanical drawings, manuals, and directives. Knowledge of ISO standards, OSHA, NAVSEA Standard Items, data analysis, Lean tools, DMAIC, Six Sigma, and Microsoft Office. Leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and team-building skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with ISO 9000 series, Six Sigma Black Belt, degree in engineering, quality management, or related field.
