**HGV Class 1 Driver**

Dartford, Kent

FM Conway are looking to recruit a **HGV Class 1 Driver** to join our Surfacing division based out of our Dartford Depot. You will be driving a Sweeper lorry with a towing attachment working a mixture of day and night shifts. To be considered for this role you must hold a valid HGV Class 1 Licence with CPC and CSCS. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a highly competitive salary and excellent benefits package Our Dartford depot is easily commutable from various locations including; Bexleyheath, Gravesend and Grays.

**The HGV Class 1 Driver Role**

As our HGV Class 1 Driver you will support various surfacing contracts, conducting sweeping operations within a safe and timely manner. Our sweeper drivers will be required to drive left hand drive vehicles and tow trailers.

**Responsibilities of our HGV Class 1 Driver Role**

- Driving and operating a HGV Sweeper to and from site.

- Operating Road Sweeper on surfacing sites.

- Understanding and following correct health and safety procedures.

- Correctly reporting any defects of the lorry.

- Refilling materials and reporting any issues to management.

- Maintaining cleanliness of the lorry to company standards.

**What were looking for in our HGV Class 1 Driver**

We are looking for safety conscious, team workers who work to a high standard. The successful candidate for this position will hold the following:

- HGV Class 1 License

- CSCS Card

- Drivers CPC

- NPORS/CPCS/NPQC or relevant qualification in Road Sweeping
