Summary: The manufacturing engineer position develops and implements optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards; recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods, and controls; coordinates manufacturing launch for new or revised products.

- Safety First - Obey the plant's safety rules and procedures by always wearing PPE and immediately addressing all safety concerns. Promotes an environment where zero injuries are the expected standard.
- Carries out process improvement, problem resolution, project management and employee training.
- Improves manufacturing processes and methods for cost-reduction, quality improvement and efficiency.
- Prepares and presents plans for the above and coordinate deployment including training of team members.
- Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes including time studies, production flow, assembly methods and production equipment.
- Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.
- Assist in developing and implementing Standard Work procedures.
- Designs, develops, and tests and/or sources and cost-justifies various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
- Performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- Two (2) years minimum experience
- Technical Capacity
- Problem Solving/Analysis
- Performance Management
- Communication Proficiency
- Project management experience
Environmental Conditions:
- The work environment is primarily office and the manufacturing plant. Must be able to perform all essential functions as appropriate on the plant floor, in meetings, and with employees, management, customers and suppliers.
