SUMMARY OF JOB: The Foodservice Prep personnel provide immediate assistance to the Foodservice Director and Kitchen Supervisor. This team member must follow company policies and procedures while maintaining the standards of cleanliness, inside and out, the standards of efficiency and accuracy with equipment, and the maximization of profit through sales and marketing as defined by Trex Mart and Companies. REPORTS TO: Kitchen Supervisor CLASSIFICATION: Non-Management WAGE: Hourly ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures that all activities conform to policies and procedures set forth by Trexcon.Communicate effectively and appropriately with all staff members.React to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned. Remains flexible in daily routine.Support the mission statement of Trexcon.Give fast, friendly customer service.Adhere to work schedules as posted at or below the budget hours for that location.Organize training of new employees.Respond to requests from stores or upper management on a daily basis.Receive in products from approved vendors per our policy.Keep track of ingredient inventory weekly with a hard inventory on the 1st Tuesday of the month.Attend management team meetings.Hours may be extended beyond scheduled times to accommodate production. DAILY DUTIES: Adhere to all recipes and preparation formulasOperate all equipment according to manufactures regulationsUnderstand and adhere to all country and city Health and Safety policies regarding the proper handling of food.Proper hand washingProper glove usageMaintain products within the proper food temperature zonesProper storage of all foods according to product typeDaily evaluation of products to remove outdated itemsAccurately perform and record temperatures of products on the designated temperature logs at least once per dayProvide corrective actions for all products within the temperature danger zone.Process orders and prepare orders for delivery.Check in vendors using the current scanning process.Sweep & Mop floors.Empty kitchen trash containers and break down all boxes and take to the dumpster.Properly record all duty time.Other duties as assigned by the Director of Foodservice. RequirementsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION: Requires prolonged standing.Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift up to 50 lbs., carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials.Occasional stooping, bending, reaching and climbing ladders or step stools.Requires some travel. Salary Description $13 - $16 per hour experience based
