BAU activity for engineering work
IBM/MQ
Fixes updates rollouts general engineering work

Describe the dynamic of your team and where this candidate will fit into the overall environment (i.e., number of team members, roles and titles they will be working with, team culture, etc.):
Team of 2 Kafaka (2 engineers) and Queue
Daily stand-ups through Agile daily scrums
Teams chats
Friday get together through teams, to keep all team members together nationwide.

Describe the role and the key responsibilities in order of which they will be doing day 1 and frequently followed by those they will be doing as the project/work progresses (Specialists can use Beeline job description if the manager needs guidance in elaborating):
Building automation of the installation of IBM MQ and IBM RDQM
Testing the latest version, build, deployments
Ensure no impacts to PNC environment
Address any issues with MQ through support tickets

Describe the must have technical skills/experience (ask for alternative/tool/version) of the position in priority order:
IBM MQ/RDQM 9.3.X
Linux Red Hat 8
Ansible

Highly Preferred:
AWX
Scripting skills in a UNIX environment
Agile STLC
JIRA
Artifactory

Job Responsibilities:
Direct staff to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary.
Review and approve the planning and implementation of network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
Review and approve the design, configuration and testing of computer hardware, networking software and operating system software.
Monitor network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and counsel organization on where changes will need to be made in the future.
Present system flow diagrams to organization and review and approve systems procedures.
Supervise systems implementation.
Supervise and assist in computer networking and computer operation functions
