Warehouse Administrator The Warehouse Administrator will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our distribution center. Working within a team of approximately 30 employees, the candidate will be responsible for receiving and shipping supplies to local hubs that support subcontractors working on offsite projects. Responsibilities Receive incoming goods, verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips, and ensure proper storage of goods. Track inventory levels, update records, and identify potential shortages or surpluses. Process customer orders, prepare shipping paperwork such as bills of lading and packing slips, and ensure orders are packaged correctly. Schedule pickups, coordinate with shipping carriers, and track shipments. Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Maintain accurate records of shipments, including dates, costs, and tracking numbers. Address issues related to shipping, receiving, or inventory, such as damage, shortages, or delays. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in shipping and receiving processes. Essential Skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory records, shipment paperwork, and order fulfillment. Effective communication skills with vendors, customers, and internal departments. Understanding of inventory control principles and practices. Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues related to shipping, receiving, or inventory. Basic computer software skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with willingness to train on the job. Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including procedures, documentation requirements, and relevant regulations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs; heavier items will be handled with assistance. Experience or willingness to learn how to use an RF scanner. Experience in warehouse inventory management, scheduling appointments, and providing customer service support. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Antioch, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
