ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for the overall operation of the receiving department.
  • Ensures prompt service and accurate deliveries to all locations.
  • Communicate with Purchasing, Department Managers, and Outlet Chefs on par levels to maintain in the storerooms (on hand) at any given time.
  • Maintain proper inventory par levels for food, liquor, housekeeping supplies, food & beverage supplies, and printed forms.
  • Processes daily orders for food, liquor, housekeeping supplies, food & beverage supplies, and printed forms.
  • Receives all orders for food, liquor, housekeeping supplies, food & beverage supplies, printed forms, and marketing promotional items at loading dock, warehouse, or cold storage warehouse.
  • Checks arriving orders against purchasing requisition and ensures they met purchasing specifications.
  • Manages the issuance of product from receiving inventory locations to various departments ensuring that the proper paperwork (requisition from Stratton Warren Inventory System) has been completed.
  • Updates inventory requisitions and close out purchase orders in Stratton Warren Inventory System.
  • Completes monthly inventory for food, liquor, housekeeping supplies, food & beverage supplies, printed forms, and marketing promotional items.
  • Meets with accounting to review pricing variations.
  • Maintains work areas in a clean, safe, and orderly manner at all times.
  • Manages all departments' employees and keeps the Casino Controller informed of any potential problems.
  • Responsible for the completion and timely submission of annual employee evaluations.
  • Hires, coaches, and counsels subordinate employees.
  • Conducts formal and informal training for subordinates.
  • Issues corrective counseling and terminates employees as needed.
  • Rewards and recognizes superior performers.
  • Sets up new procedures and automated systems for receiving, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Oversees incoming mail orders from UPS, FedEx, Airborne, and DHL in the receiving area.
  • Drives company vehicles as part of job responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three (3) to five (5) year's experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to have flexibility in work schedule.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel; experience in inventory management systems preferred.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written; ability to logically and independently plan, organize and complete work; initiative; well-developed interpersonal skills; ability to set and achieve high standards of performance; ability to make progress on multiple assignments under time constraints; and ability to travel to various locations on business.
  • Ability to organize and record invoices and do basic mathematical computations.

  • Ability to learn specific job duties and complete detailed work assignments; maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniques.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must be able to drive a box truck.
