Our client is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Construction Project Manager with extensive experience in HVAC systems for commercial buildings. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of mechanical construction projects, with a focus on HVAC installations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in HVAC systems, and excellent project management skills.

Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for mechanical construction projects, with a focus on HVAC installations.
Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
Ensure alignment of project plans with client expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
HVAC System Design and Engineering:
Provide technical oversight and guidance on the design and engineering of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Review and approve design drawings, equipment selections, and specifications to ensure functionality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with design teams to develop innovative solutions and optimize HVAC system designs.
Subcontractor Management:
Manage relationships with mechanical subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment for HVAC installations.
Coordinate subcontractor schedules and activities to ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Monitor subcontractor performance and address any issues or concerns promptly.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Implement quality control measures to ensure that HVAC installations meet project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Conduct regular inspections and testing to identify and address any quality issues or deficiencies.
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards for mechanical construction projects.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for HVAC installations.
Monitor project expenses, revenue, and cash flow, and implement strategies to maximize project profitability.
Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and billing, resolving any discrepancies or issues as needed.
Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on mechanical construction projects, maintaining strong relationships and addressing their needs and concerns.
Manage client expectations and ensure customer satisfaction by delivering HVAC installations that meet or exceed expectations.
Provide regular project updates and communications to clients, keeping them informed of project progress and milestones.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical construction project management, with a focus on HVAC systems for commercial buildings.
Strong technical expertise in HVAC system design, installation, and commissioning.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and communicate with clients and stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
PMP or similar certification is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
