It is through our continued investment in people, equipment, and processes that we insure the delivery of high quality, customized solutions to every customer.Responsibilities:Must have CNC (Mazatrol) operating experience. Set up fixturing and precision measuring equipment to produce an acceptable first piecePrepare tooling, fixturing, gauges, materials, and paperwork.Complete all necessary documentation per company policy for first piece approvalAssist in other areas in order to meet the production needs of WB Industries and its customers. Comply with all PPE and machine guarding as necessary with each job. Perform sharpening tasks, offsets and adjustments based on tool wear within current program. Measure and check parts. Keep waste low, minimize scrap, use labor efficiently, and account for all parts on jobs Improve on product throughput via additional operations i.e. multiple machine operation, de-burring, cleaning, etc. Program machine, fixturing, material, and paperwork preparation such as sharpening, locating, verifying, programming, editing, etc. Set-up and proof CNC machines for runs to achieve a first piece quality product.Set-Up Times and Run-Times: monitor for accuracy and provide necessary changes to Department Supervisor. Monitor condition of job specific tooling or holding fixtures, make authorized changes as needed/directed. Suggest and implement improvements to machining process.
