Environmental Supervisor

Trillium Construction is now hiring in Cameron, WI

Our client is a leading producer of industrial treated wood products. This location in Cameron, WI specializes in utility pole treatment.

They are now looking to bring on an Environmental Supervisor to work out of the Cameron plant full time. This is a direct hire opportunity with a salary ranging between $54k and $78k depending on experience and a benefits package which includes M/V/D, 401k, PTO, paid holidays, and a bonus program.

Duties:
-Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
-Perform audits to identify potential areas of improvement and ensure adherence to environmental standards.
-Develop and oversee environmental training programs for plant employees to ensure awareness and compliance.
-Manage environmental permit applications, renewals, and modifications to ensure timely submissions and approvals.
-Ensure accurate and timely environmental reporting, including emission reports, waste management logs, water discharge data, and other pertinent environmental records.
-Implement and oversee plant level environmental policies, programs, and procedures tailored to the unique needs of the wood treatment process.

Qualifications:
-Two or more years of facility environmental management in the manufacturing industry or environmental consulting related experience
-Bachelors degree in environmental science or environmental field preferred
-Proficiency with Microsoft office
