**Description**

Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Budget Specialist to work on-site at the Air Force Institute of Technology at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

**Responsibilities Include:**

+ Interface with the budget team and Senior Leaders providing budget analysis support

+ Support management and maintenance of budgetary plans and programs involving issues and concerns associated with the daily operations of the financial management and budget office

+ Montior the Defense Travel System queue of orders, vouchers, Government Purchase Card requests and statements

+ Assist with creating and updating administrative tracking logs

+ Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements**

+ Must be a US citizen

+ BS/BA degree in Accounting and Finance or related field

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional Office Suite Software applications, especially Microsoft Excel

+ Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI background investigation

+ Effective oral and written communication skills

**Qualifications**

**Education**

**Required**

+ Bachelors or better

**Experience**

**Preferred**

+ 2 years: DoD or relevant experience
