The Food Cashier will ensure exceptional guest services. The food service cashier will ensure that each guest is served in a friendly, professional, and timely manner. This will include greeting guests as they enter the food area, processing guests orders through the POS system, and notifying the kitchen staff of any special requests. All food service cashier leads should be health and safety conscious. The food service cashier lead is the face of food service at Spy Ninjas HQ. The food cashier lead should set the example with all cashiers of following proper procedures and providing exceptional customer service.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Greet customers and communicate with them to determine their orders.
- Take guest orders and put them into the restaurant point of sale system.
- Take payment from guests in the form of cash and credit.
- Ensure credit cards are returned to customers once they have been successfully swiped.
- Ensure the counter area is kept clean and organized at all times.
- Restock workstation with supplies and ensure any item not in stock is communicated to management.
- Create and maintain cash reports at the end of each shift.
- Notify management immediately of any customer and equipment issues.
- Empties trash and spot sweeps whenever the floor needs it or upon management request.
- Performs opening and closing responsibilities in a timely manner.
- Notify management any time a guest is not 100% satisfied with their experience.
- Uphold quality and consistency in all menu items served.
- Perform all reasonable requests by the management team.
- Attend and participate in all scheduled meetings and training sessions.
- Support the proper execution of all processes, systems, and standards.
- Other duties as required.
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Energetic personality, people-oriented and team player.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Proficient computer, keyboarding, and tablet skills.
- 2+ years of prior restaurant or customer service experience.
- Able to work a flexible schedule in order to accommodate business levels.
- Complete knowledge of proper sanitation procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills.
- Availability to work days, nights, and/or weekends.
- CPR and first aid certified, or willing to become certified.
- Complete and pass a background check.
