Topeka, KS
PAY RANGE:
Scheduled Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Other hours as required)
Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists in the development of studies, plans, criteria, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, performance assessments, integrated systems analysis, cost estimates, and budgets. Provides consultation and recommendations to the Company within and to other business units and/or customers because of studying company or customer-owned systems, processes, equipment, vehicles or facilities under an experienced engineer. Reviews financial data from budget and actual costs of projects under the guidance of an experienced engineer.

Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university (ABET).Knowledge and ability to apply problem solving approaches and design theory required.Knowledge of engineering designs, principles and practices.
*Engineer 1 - recent graduate
*Engineer II - 2 or more years of engineering experience
*Staff Engineer - 4 or more years of engineering experience
*Senior Engineer - Typically possesses 8 or more years of engineering experience and an active member of a recognized industry committee or published in recognized technical journals or at minimum has two related career experiences or clearly demonstrated team leadership abilities on critical projects.
*Lead Engineer - Typically possesses 12 or more years of specialized engineering experience.Must be able to provide direction to internal and external support personnel with limited A/E firm support.Must be an active member of a recognized industry committee or published in recognized technical journals or at minimum has two related career experiences or clearly demonstrated team leadership abilities on critical projects.
