Description:
We are seeking a Senior Principle Software Engineer to join our highly dynamic team developing machine control solutions for our high performance mailing solutions. We are looking for high energy team players with strong initiative and a can-do attitude. Candidates must have good project management skills and be able to prioritize, multitask and collaborate effectively in a fast paced, multidisciplinary group environment.

1. **Design Decision-Making with Minimal Oversight**: This role requires making critical design decisions independently, highlighting the need for a candidate with significant experience and judgment in software development, particularly in complex systems. 2. **Proficiency in C++**: The primary programming language for this role is C++, indicating a need for deep expertise in this language. 3. **Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)**: The candidate must have experience with RTOS, which are crucial for applications where timing is critical. The role involves working with systems that require predictable and repeatable timing for operations. 4. **Understanding of Real-Time Programming**: Beyond just working with RTOS, the candidate needs a thorough understanding of real-time programming principles, ensuring the predictability and repeatability of tasks. 5. **Mechatronics**: The role involves working on electronically controlled mechanical systems, requiring skills in controlling motors and understanding mechanical movements, as well as planning for acceleration and deceleration. 6. **Problem-Solving with Existing Code**: The engineer will not only work on new projects but also debug and improve existing systems, showcasing a need for strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 7. **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: The ability to work closely with mechanical and electrical engineers, suggesting a need for good communication skills and the ability to understand mechanical and electrical schematics to some extent. 8. **Experience in Industries with Real-Time and Mechatronic Systems**: Background in industries where there's a need to move material or control systems in real-time, such as manufacturing or automotive, might be beneficial. 9. **Long-Term Commitment**: Given the complex nature of the work and the learning curve involved, the role is best suited for someone looking for a long-term commitment, implying a preference for candidates with
