Atlanta, United States CV Library Full time

Who are we looking for? We're seeking senior engineers who will shape and develop products that revolutionize the insurance landscape in our daily lives. As an early or founding engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting both the external interfaces used by our customers and the internal services that underpin our platform. From conceptualization to design, implementation, testing, and beyond, you'll drive the development of new features, prioritize impactful problems, and help define the direction for the future. Additionally, you'll contribute to the growth of our engineering team through mentorship and by enhancing standards and processes. What will you be doing? Building, scaling, and enhancing services, components, and data pipelines utilized by all customers. Managing the deployment and delivery of entire features and products. Gaining deep insights into our customer needs and designing systems to address them effectively. Developing and refining tooling, processes, and engineering standards across the team. Mentoring engineers and fostering the team's growth. Requirements What would set you up for success? 4+ years of experience (or equivalent) in building and scaling libraries, services, and data pipelines. A strong inclination towards thoughtful API design and upkeep. Proficiency in writing and debugging production-quality functions and interfaces (particularly in Node.js, TypeScript), as well as infrastructure as code. Experience in designing event-driven systems spanning from the database to the client, with a knack for evaluating scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability tradeoffs. A keen interest in collaborating closely with customers to address their challenges and iterate solutions promptly. What would be even better? Experience integrating with both public and internal APIs. A solid background in network protocols and authorization standards. Working knowledge of common web and mobile frameworks and libraries. Familiarity with leading large models (LLMs) capabilities and deployment practices. Benefits Why join us? Best time to join: We're just getting started but well-funded, offering the early-stage opportunity without the risk. Define our culture: Shape our engineering culture and outline our growth journey actively. Build something transformative: Contribute to building the insurance data infrastructure of the future. Benefits Included Competitive compensation and equity packages. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits. Unlimited vacation policy. Mentorship opportunities for junior engineers. Hybrid work environment: 3-4 days per week in person, 1-2 days flexible. #J-18808-Ljbffr
