Job Description
Gradient, an environmental consulting firm, is seeking a high energy individual to assist colleagues and clients by applying knowledge of US and international regulatory compliance for product stewardship. Responsibilities include providing regulatory interpretation and guidance, evaluating GHS hazards, reviewing safety data sheets (SDSs) and labels, coordinating new chemical registrations, managing country-specific product portfolios, developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and summarizing relevant information in reports. Individual will also have the opportunity to work on non-regulatory compliance projects related to toxicology, risk assessment, industry hygiene, and database management.

Experience and Skills
Position requires at least a Masters in chemistry, health sciences, industrial hygiene, environmental science, engineering, or related field. Candidates must have excellent writing and quantitative skills, and the ability to work independently in a challenging and fast-paced work environment. Requires at least 3 years prior consulting or industry experience in regulatory compliance or product stewardship, including managing projects with multiple staff. Strong data management experience is a plus.

Compensation Statement:

Base salary is only part of your overall total compensation. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $65k - $110k . Numerous factors are taken into consideration including education/training, experience, and geographical location, all of which are appraised during the interview process. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
