Apply TodayJob Summary and QualificationsThe Patient Transport Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations of the inpatient transporters as well as Patient transports throughout the hospital as well as other duties as assigned. This a non-clinical, associate responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner to all patients during their stay. The main duties and responsibilities of the Patient Transport Manager will be to lead a team of patient transporters and supervise transportation of patients within the hospital environment by wheelchair, stretcher or bed and lead the patient transport team. The Manager will have to transport patients when needed/required and will monitor work and leave time of current Patient Transport staff. Additional duties include preparing various reports to include daily productivity and patient transport response times, maintaining equipment and ensuring transports are carried out timely and comply with the company and hospital policies.What qualifications you will need:Required Education:Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment preferred Required License: BLSRequired Experience:One to two years of experience working in customer relations or other public contact field.
