Medical Director - A non-profit health care network is seeking full-time physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) to join the team in a director role.

We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time physician (BC in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) to serve as a working Nursing Home Service Director. The Nursing Home Service Line provides a network of medical professionals which supports patients that require both long-term care and short-term rehabilitation

This is a dedicated Nursing Home Service with providers embedded in two of the largest Skilled Nursing Facilities in the county. We have an exceptional team of two part-time physicians and 3 full-time nurse practitioners with nursing support staff, and administrative staff. The physician director will be a part of the patient care team and provide clinical leadership and oversight. Minimal call on weekends and call is shared with other providers.

The Nursing Home Service Line providers are responsible for admissions, discharges, diagnosing an illness or condition, assisting with sick care, and providing regulatory visits required. Staff of providers complete regular onsite visits to nursing home patients, and work in conjunction with the nurse practitioners and care coordinators.
