Machinist

We are currently seeking a candidate with 2+ years of experience that wants to earn their forklift certification for a client in Warren, Ohio

Shift:

  • 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:30AM - 3:30PM
Pay:
  • $19.00 - $25.00 / hour, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
  • Forms / shapes material
  • Operates lathes / drill presses / mills / routers / grinding machines / duplicating / profile machines
  • Includes machinists / machine operators / apprentice
  • Works from drawings / written instructions to create replacement / new parts in making repairs to metal parts
  • Requires basic knowledge of various metals / measurements used in machining processes
  • Performs housekeeping of machine / work area
  • Performs daily maintenance check of machine
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School / GED
  • 2-5 years of experience preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude required
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Crane / Forklift: in-house training provided to obtain certification
  • Proper use of Safety Equipment such as safety boots / hard hat / safety glasses / gloves
  • Proper use of tools such as inside / outside micrometers / depth micrometer / calipers / bore gages
