$6,077 - $8,170 Monthly Description: The Human Resource Consultant 4 (HRC4) will provide expert level HR consultation and advice to organizational management, lower-level professional staff, peers, and employees within assigned customer groups. Responsibilities include supervising other Human Resource Consultants, providing guidance and support in HR related matters, and handling day-to-day generalist HR matters. The HRC4 will support the Reentry Division, ensuring compliance with Civil Service Rules, Collective Bargaining Agreements, policies, and State and Federal laws. Duties: Provide consultation, advice, interpretation, guidance, and support on HR issues Advise on organization staffing and development Supervise Human Resource Consultant 1 Facilitate employee medical and occupational health matters Conduct special projects and other assigned duties Minimum Requirements: High School graduation or equivalent Three years of broad-based professional human resources experience Demonstrated competency in consulting, analysis, problem-solving, communication, customer focus, change leadership, teamwork, research, and analysis Proficiency in MS Word and Outlook Preferred Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in relevant field Two years of professional-level human resource experience Six months or more experience using NEOGOV and HRMS S/PHR or IMPA-HR certification SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification Telework Details: This position may be allocated for telework within the state of Washington, subject to supervisor approval. Employees must maintain a safe work environment, confidentiality, and state-issued equipment.
