Functie omschrijving
Als BI Consultant bereid je data voor interne key-users voor waardoor zij invulling aan hun rapportages kunnen geven. Je vormt de brug tussen de data architecten en deze key-users (business analisten) en zorgt uiteindelijk voor dat bijv. HR en Finance afdelingen de juiste stuurinformatie voor hun afdeling hebben.
Als Business Intelligence Consultant zul je nauw samenwerken met architecten, leveranciers, product owners en business analisten om het product portfolio verder te ontwikkelen. Jouw technische basis wordt gecombineerd met een sterke drive om bedrijfsspecifieke processen te begrijpen en bruikbare inzichten te leveren door middel van moderne visualiseringstechnieken. Samen zullen jullie werken aan het continu verbeteren van de dataomgeving, met als doel een data-gedreven organisatie te worden. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de realisatie, het onderhoud en de verdere ontwikkeling van de data-architectuur van de organisatie, gebaseerd op het data platform binnen het Microsoft Azure ecosysteem. Een deel van jouw taken bestaat daarbij uit:
Het analyseren van bedrijfs- en rapportagebehoeften en adviseren over KPI's, definities en rapportages.
Vertalen van vereisten naar ontwerpen en het creëren van data-technische oplossingen die bedrijfsdoelstellingen ondersteunen en toegevoegde waarde leveren.
Het verbinden en integreren van nieuwe databronnen en het onderhouden van data pipelines.
Ontwerpen en beschikbaar stellen van platformuitbreidingen, data-oplossingen en werkruimtes.
Ondersteunen en mogelijk maken voor bedrijfsgebruikers om met de oplossingen te werken.
Het verkennen van manieren om de datakwaliteit en betrouwbaarheid te verbeteren.
Samenwerking met andere data-experts uit HR, Finance, Business Development, Marketing & Communicatie en Compliance
Functie eisen
Als BI Consultant ben je een verbinder die de link legt tussen bedrijfsstrategie, rapportagebehoeften en technologie, gebruikmakend van je technologische kennis en sterke analytische vaardigheden. Je gelooft in een goede balans tussen proces en pragmatisme. Je krijgt energie van het schakelen met collega's uit verschillende afdelingen en eindgebruikers, en je schroomt niet om bestaande ideeën en concepten kritisch te bevragen waar nodig. Met een drive voor continue verbetering en een oog voor compliance, ben je servicegericht en resultaatgericht, terwijl je het grotere geheel niet uit het oog verliest. Je voldoet daarbij aan de volgende vereisten:
HBO/WO werk en denkniveau, bij voorkeur een opleiding in Data of ICT.
2 tot 5 jaar relevante werkervaring op het gebied van Business Intelligence, Data Modelling & Analytics.
Ervaring met data en cloud concepten, data modelling en pipelines.
Ervaring met relevante tools en technieken, zoals SSRS, SSIS, PowerBI.
Nederlands als de Engels in woord en geschrift.
Het vermogen om technologische kennis te combineren met stakeholdermanagement.
Bedrijfsprofiel
Onze opdrachtgever is een zakelijke dienstverlener met kantoren in Amsterdam, Rotterdam,en een aantal (kleinere) buitenlandse kantoren, waaronder Londen en Brussel. De organisatie telt intussen ruim 1000 medewerkers. De afdeling IT & Informatiemanagement bestaat uit zo'n 35 professionals. Denk hierbij aan BI consultants, Data Architecten, Business Analisten, Pojectmanagers, Applicatiebeheerders en Servicedesk Medewerkers. Zij zitten verdeeld over de twee Nederlandse vestigingen, maar de primaire standplaats van medewerkers is Amsterdam. De sfeer op de afdeling is informeel en ongedwongen, de dresscode is business casual. De vestiging is met de auto goed bereikbaar, echter wel betaald. Openbaar vervoer (centraal station) ligt op loopafstand.
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
Als BI Consultant kun je rekenen op de volgende aanbieding:
Een maandsalaris tussen € 4.000,- en € 5.600,- op basis van fulltime 37,5 uur & afhankelijk van kennis en ervaring;
Een vaste 13e maand;
8% vakantiegeld;
