Senior Director, Organizational Development and Learning .The Senior Director, Organizational Development and Learning role has direct accountability and responsibility for the enterprise talent review process and organizational succession planning along with post hire on-boarding and assessment strategies. This will include providing education and support to our Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs) who facilitate the process with their businesses and produce key deliverables such as talent tools and frameworks that will enable the process. Other key programs include leadership onboarding, engagement results consultation, assessment center leadership, mentoring, job rotations, project mobility and support of the performance management process training and coaching. #MakeItYourChoice . Your Responsibilities Organizational Development Consultation Partner and provide direction to HR Business Partners and HR leaders to respond to talent strategy development needs. Consult and partner with the CHRO, CTCO, HRBPs and business leaders to shape the talent strategy and support change management initiatives through impact analysis, communications, planning and leadership development. Design and deliver high impact interventions, considering the big details that are strategic as well as the small details that matter (audiences: managers, directors, teams, individual contributors, and new hires). Analyze the audience, content, technologies, operational constraints, and trade-offs associated with selecting the best delivery methods for each objective to optimize design and implementation strategy. Demonstrate impact of the programs using well defined metrics. Continually evaluate solutions for consistency, quality, business impact, scalability, and sustainability. Conduct post-learning evaluation to understand successes and improvement opportunities for the designed solution. Source and manage external vendors or partnerships to support enterprise and business unit programs; prepare and manage contracts and expenses. Educate and coach Directors, Senior Directors and VP’s on their role in developing people as an essential part of their jobs. Coaching on team and organizational effectiveness. Own the development and implementation of enterprise programs. Training Facilitation Serve as an industry expert representing Choice in professional organizations. Serve as a role model for excellent instructional facilitation and develop those capabilities in others. Stay abreast of discipline-related emerging trends and best practices (internally and externally); participate in the development of new offerings, toolkits, publications or knowledge. Identify additional opportunities for content development in service of emerging business needs. Content development skill set in written, presentation and online curriculum design. Engage with subject matter experts throughout the organization to build a community of appropriate learning resources. Develop reporting system and metrics to monitor the progression and success of program participants and the impact of the program on the business. Organizational Development Support Responsibilities Lead in the design, development, and administration/implementation of programs designed to cultivate a high impact learning organization philosophy across the organization. Creates engaging PowerPoint documents and presentations on a wide range of subjects. Has fiscal responsibility for the budget process including preparation, accruals and monthly reconciliation to ensure budgets are managed to support programs and maintain fiscal prudence. Your Experience & Skills Bachelor's degree required - organization development, organizational psychology or the equivalent Minimum 10 years experience of full-time work experience in Organizational Development or Learning with experience in both disciplines Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong ability to build and sustain multi-level professional relationships A thought partner to departmental and organizational leadership Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills Strong client focus Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products - advanced skills preferred. Learning Management Systems (LMS) exposure preferred. Sr. Director, Organizational Development and Learning , you will be based in our new state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters in North Bethesda, Maryland. Less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, we’re located directly across from the North Bethesda Metro station, with service on the Red Line, easy access to I-270 and 495, and free parking provided by Choice Hotels. Right now, our associates in Rockville, MD are working in our office between three to four days per week and working virtually the remaining days.
