This is a fully remote position for candidates residing in the US or Canada. What You'll Do Fullstack Development: Develop complex, end?to?end features, integrating both front?end (HTML, CSS, TypeScript/React) and back?end aspects to enhance user experience and system reliability. Quality & Collaboration: Uphold a high?quality standard by working closely with Product Management, Design, and Engineering stakeholders in a fast?paced, iterative environment. Product Ownership: Step into a temporary product management role when necessary to ensure solutions meet high quality and effectiveness standards. Project Lifecycle: Engage in all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial planning and design through deployment, including conducting thorough code reviews and performance optimization. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers, helping them advance their skills and careers. Requirements Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, specifically in an Individual Contributor (IC) role, with demonstrated ability to work across the full stack or a strong backend?leaning background. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript. Experience with a modern back?end language (e.g., Ruby, Python, or Java). Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering principles. Product Mindset: You take pride in end?to?end ownershipfrom conceptualization to deploymentensuring solutions are effective and user?centric. Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive and excel in a fast?paced, product?focused environment where priorities may shift rapidly. Nice to Have: Experience with specific technologies like Rails, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch is highly valued, along with a background in startup environments (founder or early employee experience).
