Casa Bonita is celebrating its 50th anniversary of being a part of the Denver community with a fan-base that continues to grow globally.Job Summary:This is an hourly role within the Technical Department. The Venue Technician (Part Time) is responsible for daily operation of the technical aspects in the venue. The VTPT is responsible for maintenance, repair and cleaning as assigned by the Technical Supervisors and the Associate Technical Director. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years' experience in entertainment technology. Experience with computer applications. An understanding of entertainment technology and its application. The ability to learn and apply concepts. Flexible availability including daytime, evenings, weekends and major holidays. Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Excellent people skills and professional appearance. Ability to successfully manage and prioritize information flow in a live environment. Ability to communicate and work effectively in a diverse team environment with supervisors, peers, subordinates, guests, vendors and corporate partner to resolve problems and facilitate the use of technology. Ability to read, interpret and implement training materials, operating instructions, and web-based knowledge libraries. Working knowledge of computers, internet access, and local networks. Prior experience with two-way radio communications is helpful. Fluent in written and spoken English. Fluent in Spanish a plus.Responsibilities: Daily operation of venue technology. Maintenance, repair and cleaning of all systems. Proactive stance on achieving a high level of operability on all gear. Executes new projects as assigned. Other duties as directed by the Associate Technical Director.Physical Requirements: Must have close and distant vision and be able to identify and distinguish colors. Must have good hearing. Capable of walking extended distances and standing on feet for 8-10 hours a day as well as moving between tight spaces. Able to walk up and down stairs and both up inclines and down declines multiple times in a shift. Must be able to pivot on feet to move around groups of people. Must be able to move from seated to standing and standing to seated positions without assistance. Capable of kneeling, lifting and stooping multiple times in a shift. Frequently lifts/carries up to 50 pounds. Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills. Able to reach hands and arms in any direction. Able to work calmly under pressure and at a fast pace. Capable of and at ease engaging with the public Able to withstand noise levels typical of a high-volume restaurant/entertainment venue Able to perform job duties efficiently in a variety of lighting conditions typical of a restaurant, which may include subdued lighting.Deadline to Apply:November 4th, 20244Apply only if interested in Part Time Pay Range: $34 per hour
