Production Manager Position Open
As a result of a recent reorganization, we are currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Production Manager.
About the Role:
As Production Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and optimizing our forge production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. Reporting directly to the President, you will be responsible for leading and motivating our forge production team to meet and exceed customer expectations, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day forge production operations, including workflow optimization, resource allocation, and adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Lead the forge production team of roughly 60 associates by example, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development. Share forging knowledge and provide guidance on understanding the forging process to enhance our teams' skills and expertise.
- Work together with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of production plans.
- Monitor production metrics and performance indicators to ensure quality parts are being manufactured. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Drive initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Uphold compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, with a focus on safety and quality standards.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or Manufacturing Technology.
- 5 years of experience in forging manufacturing operations.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze complex production data to drive informed decision-making.
- Previous management experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
