Warehouse Inventory Specialist

Warehouse Inventory Specialist Wood Personnel is currently hiring for a warehouse cycle counter on 1st shift at a manufacturing facility located in the Franklin, TN area. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years cycle counting experience. This is a temp to hire position with a company that offers excellent benefits once hired on. Compensation and Shift: $18 an hour with a pay increase once you go permanent with the company Monday - Friday 1st shift: 7am-3:30pm Benefits Offered By Wood Personnel: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Holidays Paid Vacation days Weekly Pay Employee Referral Bonus Benefits Once Hired on by Client: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Life Insurance 401K Plan Warehouse Cycle Counter Skills and Qualification: High school diploma or GED required; associates degree preferred 1-3 years experience in inventory control, warehouse, or distribution center environment Proficiency with warehouse management systems and/or ERP systems (experience with QAD a plus) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other inventory reporting tools Strong mathematical skills Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy under tight timelines Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel Must be available to work overtime as needed Detail-oriented Ability to multitask and be a self-starter Ability to work well in a fast pace environment Bilingual is a plus Warehouse Inventory Specialist Duties and Responsibilities: Perform daily and scheduled cycle counts of inventory locations to ensure accuracy between physical and system quantities. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through research, reporting, and collaboration with shipping, receiving, and production teams. Maintain and update inventory records in QAD to ensure real-time accuracy. Identify root causes of count variances and recommend corrective actions to improve inventory control processes. Monitor and report on inventory adjustments, stock transfers, and returns. Adhere to all company safety, quality, and operational procedures. Partner with warehouse leadership team to continuously improve inventory accuracy and process efficiency.
