Delivery Material Handler

ABC Supply is the nation's largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building materials. Delivery Material Handlers at ABC assist in the safe and accurate delivery of materials from the warehouse to each job site location. They unload orders according to customer specifications with the help of various delivery equipment, including truck-mounted forklifts. Delivery Material Handlers specialize in ground and/or rooftop deliveries. For rooftop deliveries, you will physically work on rooftops to complete the job.ABC Supply is proud to be an employee-first company. At ABC Supply, we have YOUR future covered.Specific duties may include:Loading and unloading delivery vehiclesAssisting with loading products onto rooftopsAssisting in maneuvering delivery vehiclesDelivering product in non-CDL required vehiclesProviding superior customer serviceDouble checking all loads for accuracy and ensuring that they are thoroughly secured for deliveryProviding warehouse support as neededResponsibilities may include assisting with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites and delivery functions including unloading and staging of product at jobsites as assignedPerforming all duties safelySpecific qualifications include:Ability to lift 75-100 lbs consistentlyAbility to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout complete shiftForklift experience preferredAbility and willingness to work on rooftopsPositive attitude and team playerAdhering to all safety policies, including wearing safety harness and other required equipmentBenefits may include:Health, dental, and vision coverage - eligible after 60 days, low out of pocket401(k) with generous company match - eligible after 60 days, immediately vestedEmployer paid employee assistance programEmployer paid short term and long term disabilityEmployer paid life insuranceFlex spendingPaid vacationPaid sick daysPaid holidaysPay Rate InformationStarting at $20/hour.
