Turner Industries Group is looking for an experienced Material Handler in the Greenwood, SC area. Responsible for the physical receipt, storage, and distribution of production materialsRequires involvement in conducting physical inventories and count discrepancy resolution, management of non-conforming materials, and interface with purchasing and production departments regarding material issuesPer diem and relocation are not available for this position. The ideal candidate will be within 60mi of the jobsite location. Qualification Standards:Written pre-employment qualification testPost-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluationPass background checkValid drivers licenseExperience in handling Liquid and Dry products for agricultural and industrial use, preferredFunctional Requirements: Assist with terminal / distribution operations by performing loading and unloading activitiesMonitor products transferred to and from tanks, vessels, or pipelines at terminal siteAssist with terminal maintenance duties as needed maintaining equipment in operating conditionCatch samples as per Standard Operating ProcedureInput information into electronic hand-held device which documents Standard Operating ProcedureLoad trucks, railcars and unload raw materials from outside suppliers and intra-plant Units.Track mobile movement & spot railcars and tanker trailersAssist customers and/or producers with any problems that may ariseSpecial assignment duties and call out as requiredSubject to random DOT drug screeningPhysical Involvement:Employee may be required to do the following: climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds structures, etc.; reaching in all directions, handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes, hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30 to 100 pounds from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, equipment, etc.; standing; sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; crawling; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction.Turner Industries is an equal employment opportunity employer.
