JOB SUMMARY

Buyer is responsible for purchasing of raw materials, part, supplies, equipment, and office supplies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Obtains the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible purchase cost.

+ Develops and ensures all elements of the purchase commitment are completed with proper required approvals.

+ Reviews requisition for accuracy and completeness and prepares and processes assigned purchase order.

+ Monitors, reorders, and purchases items needed for inventory.

+ Creates and reconciles reports to ensure accuracy of payables.

+ Coordinates with vendors in accuracy on availability, price, and delivery of items.

+ Expedites the delivery of purchases as necessary to achieve production and customer demands.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

+ Education: Bachelors degree required.

+ 2-4 years' experience required.

+ Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
