Together we solve the challenges of today and empower solutions of tomorrow.***2nd shift, 3pm - 11pm, M-Fri***Sign-on Bonus***Health Benefits on Day 1Essential Duties and Responsibilities of CNC Machine OperatorAble to operate all machines; CNC's, Shot Blaster's, Vibratory, Drill Press, Belt Sander's and Hot Dip Wash Tanks per procedures and part specific work instructionsAble to inspect castings using various hand inspection tools, leak testers, and air gage equipment per part specific work instructions.Enter good and bad piece counts into GuardianComplete P-Charts as neededMaintain records of inspectionsMaintain a clean and orderly work areaCarry out duties as the Machining Finishing Dept. Supervisor and Lead Person specifiesMust support and follow the QMS requirementsObserve all Boyd safety and OSHA guidelines and proceduresRequirementsQualifications of CNC Machine OperatorTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to communicate with employees on a professional level at all timesKnowledgePrevious factory experience is required. Basic knowledge of machining practices. Ability to use gauges as needed. Basic reasoning skills and language skills (ability to read, analyze and interpret general business paperwork in English). Ability to complete shop paperwork. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions/requests from managers, clients, customers, and the general public in English. Ability to read and understand the company quality policy in English.
