POSITION SUMMARY:

Assists the interdisciplinary team in providing direct patient care under the direction of the Charge Nurse. Leads educational groups. Provides and participates in co-leadership of supportive therapy under the direction and supervision of the Behavioral Therapist.

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology or related field required. At least two years experience in a psychiatric setting preferred.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

Current certification in nonviolent crisis intervention required within 90 days of hire. CPR Bi-annual certification required.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, organizational and critical decision-making skills. Successful completion of annual clinical, age specific and job specific competencies and skills validation tools.
