It's More Than a Job, It's a Career As the Senior Manager, Finance for the Mapleton and Hodges Foundries, you will have the opportunity to develop essential business information and analysis as well as provide counsel to management for all business planning, management reporting, legal entity, product costing, decision support, manufacturing footprint & product sourcing strategies. This role must work across highly diverse and global teams to deliver insights to drive the business forward. What You Will Do: Managing monthly financial reporting & analysis for the two facilities Leading the development of the two facilities financial forecasts Providing leadership and guidance for product cost reporting & analysis; operational cost reporting & analysis; and capital spend requests and investment analysis including sourcing decisions Ensuring high integrity financial reporting through maintaining a strong control environment Participating in strategy development to drive improved financial and operational performance Developing the best team through coaching, training & development, and career planning What You Have: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Finance and Accounting: Knowledge of finance and accounting practices, financial analysis, and reporting; ability to apply finance knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Organizational Governance: Knowledge of the processes, customs, policies, and rules affecting the way the organization is administered and controlled; ability to ensure compliance with governance guidelines and policies. Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization. Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there. Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material. Financial Forecasting and Modeling: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques of financial forecasting and modeling; ability to explore and evaluate alternative financial scenarios and results. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP): Knowledge of the generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP); ability to apply GAAP appropriately within the organization.
