Our ComNet business unit is an amalgamation of secure communications networking solutions. The product portfolio today includes industrial grade ethernet switches, network extenders, media converters, edge computing and video storage appliances, remote network management solutions, and ancillary products. Our development teams need a new leader that will work closely with Product Management and Sales to define release cadences, apply process and discipline to our efforts, structure agile ways of working, and lead strategic engineering initiatives – all while being people focused. - Build and maintain Engineering teams with the required skills and knowledge to create and maintain the ComNet portfolio - Plan, define and deliver the Engineering projects, and staff allocations, according to the roadmap and defined budgets, and in cooperation with the Product Manager - Participate and proactively drive decisions and engineering services as member of the engineering management team. - Proactively define innovations to deliver on current portfolios and modernization to future-proof the products. - Participate in the definition of moving to common software and/or hardware where appropriate. - Ensure projects are delivered on time and comply with all relevant legal requirements. - Ensure high quality delivery to minimize the commercial risks post-delivery. - Direct and develop employees in the department to secure long-term business success. - Manage development teams across multiple disciplines.
