Description We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Security Administrator to join our cybersecurity team. This role is essential to our proactive and defensive security operations, with a focus on monitoring, breach detection, and system fortification. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of security frameworks, be certified in advanced security protocols, and have hands-on experience in penetration testing and incident response. Key Responsibilities: Security Monitoring & Incident Response: Continuously monitor systems and networks for security breaches, anomalies, and potential vulnerabilities. Respond promptly to detected threats and conduct incident investigations to contain and remediate security events. Vulnerability & Penetration Testing: Conduct regular penetration tests and vulnerability assessments to identify, document, and mitigate risks across applications, networks, and infrastructure. Utilize advanced penetration testing tools to assess system security and work with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities. Access & Policy Management: Manage user permissions and access control in compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices. Enforce security protocols and regularly update security policies to ensure robust defense mechanisms. Breach Detection & Forensics: Detect and assess potential security breaches, coordinating root cause analyses and forensic investigations. Document security incidents and recommend procedural or technological improvements to prevent future incidents. Collaboration & Compliance: Work closely with IT, DevOps, and other teams to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations. Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and regulatory requirements, contributing to the continuous improvement of the security framework. Requirements Required Qualifications: Certifications (strongly preferred): CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) CPT (Certified Penetration Tester) CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) CEPT (Certified Expert Penetration Tester) CWAPT (Certified Web Application Penetration Tester) CREA (Certified Reverse Engineering Analyst) Technical Skills: Proficiency in security monitoring tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS systems) Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools and techniques (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Wireshark) Familiarity with forensic tools and breach detection methodologies Strong understanding of network protocols, firewall management, and incident response procedures Skills & Abilities: Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team Keen attention to detail and commitment to data security Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
